Dude! That's a bum. I don't really know what to say, so I'll just say thinking of you. At the risk of sounding like a complete stalker, I shared a lift with you and that nurse A from 27. Well, I'm almost certain it was you, you were in a bed, I stuck my foot out to catch the lift for yous.
I hope you feel considerably less lousy very quickly mate! Rosie xx

Stalker?! Now that's just unnessecary! I am just a concerned reader of this blog is all, who *happened* to bump into him!
Anon, the person I saw in the bed was rather groggy, but awake, but you could tell he was a bit 'out of it'.
I hope you're feeling a bit brighter since then anyway. get well soon! Frog!

Mark,
Sorry to hear about he chronic. It happens. I am post 9 years, and in 2004 developed chronic. My center and I worked fast to get me treated, as it seems the sooner something is done the better.
I was on prograf, cellcept, prednisone and when this chronic hit they added Rapamune and Azithromycin...... well it worked wonders. My FEV1 was 25% at chronic, and after a few months on the new meds I got up further and now I am at about 60%.
Also reading your journal, I am so surprised at your "social" outings. Do you wear a mask, or have you ever? Do you catch many infections? They say the more infections, the more chance for chronic.
Rapamune or Sirolimus is a great drug and you need to be at least one year post lung tx, to go on it. There is also inhaled Cyclo, Everlimus and some others.
Let me know if you need some help.
